Special interests
As a lawyer, or interim lawyer, Christel is particularly active in the field of government affairs, public-private matters and property law. She has assisted both public and private parties and she has a wide experience in consultancy and litigation matters pertaining to general administrative law, local government law, government liability, subsidies, permits, enforcement, pharmaceutical law, planning and zoning law, environmental law, public real estate and property development. She has furthermore specialized in area development through a study at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate.

Work experience
Christel’s career started in 1996 and has covered a large variety of legal aspects. She started as a legal expert with a town council’s social affairs department, after which she moved on to the Council of State (Administrative Jurisdiction Division), where she was active as a staff lawyer dealing with town and country planning. She subsequently started her international career with the law firm of Skadden Arps, Japan. Since 2001 Christel has worked as a lawyer, initially with the law firm of NautaDutilh and subsequently in a privately-employed capacity. She has worked on an interim basis at offices such as Loyens & Loeff and Clifford Chance. On 1 June 2009 Christel joined Legaltree as a partner.
