For the past ten years Hester Bos has specialised in property law, focusing on rent law. She is a widely-experienced adviser and litigator on every legal aspect of the lease of both residential and commercial properties and represents clients in both interlocutory and full-length civil proceedings in matters such as: termination of leases, substitution, rent adjustments, renovation, nuisance and illegal subleases. In addition Hester is an experienced drafter of complex lease agreements and loan for use agreements. Among her clients are institutional investors, property developers, real estate agents and housing corporations. Characteristic of the way in which Hester operates is her personal, client-driven and matter-of-fact approach. Involvement, instant response and first-class work naturally come first with her.

Experience

Before Hester joined Legaltree as per 1 June 2011, she worked at the Construction / Real Estate and Corporate & Commercial Litigation departments of the law firm NautaDutilh. Between 2004 and March 2005 she was seconded to the American law firm Debevoise & Plimpton in London. S ubsequently, as of 2006 until October 2010 Hester was a partner at BASE Advocaten in Rotterdam.
