Rutger Hensen graduated from Utrecht University in 1997.
Work experience
Having worked for several leading law firms for a period of 10 years (NautaDutilh, Stibbe and CMS Derks Star Busmann) Rutger joined Legaltree as a partner on 1 February 2009.
Practice area
Rutger specializes in property law, with a focus on landlord and tenant law, sales and purchases, limited rights, property development and expropriation proceedings. Rutger is a consultant for, and conducts lawsuits on behalf of, businesses in various sectors of industry, such as Consumer products & Retail, Hotels & Leisure as well as Property, on matters such as entering into and terminating lease agreements, rent changes, substitutions, the renovation of rented properties, both residential and commercial, the completion of properties as well as land transactions, sale and leaseback transactions, easements and zoning plans. In addition to running his own practice Rutger is also active as an interim lawyer.
